Fair Squad Picker
Choose a match squad while giving priority to players who have appeared in fewer games.
Last checked:
How to use it
- Add each available player and the number of games they have played so far.
- Choose how many players the squad needs. The remaining players will be listed as sitting out.
- Review the selection, then print it or share a link with the squad details.
- Update games played before the next selection so the rotation reflects your latest records.
How it works
- Players with the most games played are considered to sit out first. When players are tied, their names are sorted A to Z to decide the order.
- The picker makes a repeatable selection from the values you enter. It does not account for availability, positions, injuries or league selection rules, so check the list before sharing it.
- The share link contains player names and game counts. Anyone with the link can read them, so share it only with people who should see those details.

Set the squad size
14 available − 12 selected = 2 sitting out
Choose 12 players from the 14 available for this example.
Prioritise fewer appearances
A and B: 5 games · C: 4 games · everyone else: 3 games
With 14 available players and a squad size of 12, two players sit out. If A and B have played 5 games, C has played 4, and everyone else has played 3, A and B sit out.
