Season Position Tracker
Keep a season record of where each player has played, game by game and period by period.

How to use it
- Add the player names and the position choices your team uses. Names and positions must be unique.
- Choose a game name and number of periods. Assign a position to each player in every period, or leave a period unassigned.
- Add the game to update the season summary. Repeat for each game, then save the tracker on this device or download the CSV.
- To import a game, choose a CSV file or paste rows in the import area. Use a Player column followed by one column for each period, review the rows, then choose Import game.
How it works
- A player counts once for a position in a game when that position appears in at least one period. The tracker also counts all assigned periods, so a position change within a game remains visible.
- The chart shows each player’s position count as a share of games recorded. Games without an assignment for a player still remain in the season total.
- The season is saved only in this browser when you choose Save on this device. The CSV contains one row per player and position with both game and period counts.
Worked example
Count games in a position
Keeper in 2 different games → Keeper 2 of 3 games
Across three games, if a player is assigned Keeper in two different games, the summary reads “Keeper 2 of 3 games”. If they play Keeper in two periods of one game, that is one game at Keeper and two Keeper periods.
Keep periods separate from games
2 Keeper periods in 1 game = 1 game at Keeper
Multiple periods in the same position count once toward the number of games in that position.
Frequently asked questions
Can a player have more than one position in a game?
Yes. Choose a position for each period. A player can count for several positions in the same game.
How does the tracker count a position by game?
A position counts once for that player in a game if it is assigned in at least one period. Period totals are listed separately.
Can I track positions that are not listed?
Yes. Edit the position choices to match the names your team uses before adding games.
Can I import an existing game?
Yes. Choose a CSV file up to 1 MB or paste CSV rows with a Player column and one column per period, such as Player, Period 1, Period 2. Review the rows, then choose Import game. Files are read on your device.
Where is my season data stored?
Only in this browser when you save it. Download a CSV for a separate copy, and use Delete my data to clear the saved tracker.
