The short answer

A sample 60-minute session is 10 minutes warm up, 20 minutes skills, 25 minutes small-sided play and five minutes cool down; adjust it to your group.

A simple 60-minute outline

Try a 10-minute warm up, a 20-minute skill drill, a 25-minute small-sided game and a five-minute cool down. The blocks total 60 minutes. This is an editable planning example, not a prescribed coaching or medical programme.

Give each block one clear purpose

Write a short activity name and one instruction or equipment note. Keep transitions in mind: collecting balls, explaining the next activity and moving between spaces all use session time.

Adapt it for your group

Change the activities, order and durations for your sport, players, facilities and weather. If the group needs more water breaks or explanation, reduce another block rather than letting the session quietly run over.

Review the plan afterwards

Note what fitted, what ran long and what the players found difficult. Use those observations to shape the next session instead of treating a template as a fixed prescription.
